Area of Expertise:

Animal Community Ecology; Ecosystem Management & Conservation of Biodiversity; Plant Ecology and Taxonomy.

Research Interest:
Research interests include the effects of habitat disturbance on animal communities, broad scale ecosystem management, effective conservation and monitoring of threatened plant and animal species, development of novel tropical fruit crops, ecology and dynamics of heath and peat swamp forests in Southeast Asia, speciation through hybridisation in plants, and virtually anything involving Nepenthes pitcher plants.
