Research Interest:

The main research interests focus on the development of novel heterogeneous catalyst for various reactions and the reaction mechanisms leading to a better understanding of the catalyst behaviour. To promote green chemistry, attempts are being made to reduce/eliminate the use of solvent in the reaction media.

Natural product is also one of the research interests to be explored. The enzymes of interest are isolated from plants and characterized in terms of its bioactivity and reactivity.
