Area of Expertise:

Polymer chemistry, experienced in producing carboxymethyl cellulose from sago waste and convert to hydrogels for medical uses and to microcapsule to be used in slow release of drug delivery and also in preparing biodegradable plastics.

Research Interest:

Research interest is in polymer chemistry, in developing new biodegradable polymers using plant waste and currently focusing on preparing carboxymethyl cellulose from sago waste and convert to products to be used in medical and agriculture.
